When you buy a Toyota vehicle from our authorized dealerships, you're not just getting a car – you're securing years of total coverage, professional maintenance, and access to the best services and parts around. Your car will want for nothing during the duration of our ‘New Vehicle Limited Warranty,’ as all covered repairs and adjustments will be free of charge, including genuine parts replacement and labor cost.

Warranty Scope and Period

Toyota will repair or replace any defective part of your new Toyota vehicle for a period of 36 months or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.

The warranty includes only material or workmanship defects and excludes the defects mentioned in 'Warranty Exclusions.'

Warranty coverage is fully transferable to subsequent vehicle owners and is valid only within the country where the Toyota distributor listed on the warranty registration is located.

Warranty Exclusions

Damage caused by the following

Fire, accident, or theft.

Improper repairs.

Alteration or tampering, including the installation of non-genuine Toyota parts and accessories.

Improper maintenance, including the use of fluids other than those specified in the Owner’s Manual.

Airborne chemicals, tree sap, road debris (including stone chips), rail rust, salt, hail, floods, wind storms, lightning, and other environmental conditions.

Misuse (e.g. racing, overloading), negligence, or use of add-on parts.

Cosmetic or surface corrosion from stone chips, scratches, or dents.

Other Damages:

Noise, vibration, cosmetic conditions, and other deteriorations caused by normal wear and tear.

The vehicle mileage being altered so that the odometer cannot correctly read it.

Loss of time, inconvenience, or commercial loss.

Warranty Inclusions

Battery: The original equipment battery covers 1 year or 20,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. For hybrid vehicles, the hybrid battery covers for 8 years or 160,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
Accessories: Toyota Genuine Accessories are warranted for 6 months or 10,000 kilometers (whichever is greater).
Paint Defects: Paint Defects appearing on deck panels of pickup trucks are covered for 1 year or 20,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
Parts: The service parts warranty period is 6 months or 10,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. Counter sales parts warranty period is 6 months (unlimited kilometers).
Towing Service: When your vehicle is inoperative due to a warranty part failure, towing service will be available, free of charge, to the nearest authorized Toyota service center.
Tires: Tires are covered under a separate warranty provided by the tire manufacturer.

Warranty Tips

For maintenance, we recommend you return to the dealership where you bought your vehicle for their continued and personal interest in you.

If not available, any other authorized Toyota dealer will make the necessary repairs or adjustments using new or remanufactured Toyota approved parts.

Make sure to regularly take your car to periodic maintenance at an authorized Toyota dealership, and keep a precise record of your appointments.
